CHORUS

One voice heard as several: a short swept delay, detuned by the sweep. Stereo, and the width IS the effect. Turn fb up and it becomes a flanger. This is the single most important module for LUSH and WIDE.

Down the left edge of the card, top to bottom.

laudio
The signal to thicken. Mono is fine — r follows it, and one voice comes out as a wide two.
raudio
The right side. Normals from l. Patch it and a stereo source keeps its image instead of being folded to mono on the way in.
rate cvcv
Modulates the sweep rate.
depth cvcv
Modulates the sweep depth.

Down the right edge, in the same order.

Left. This effect is BORN stereo — take both outputs, or you throw away the thing that makes it work.

knobs

Left to right across the face — the dials in the picture.

rate0.02 … 10 hz= 0.6 hz
How fast the sweep is. SLOW (well under 1 Hz) is lush and drifting; fast is seasick.
depth0 … 1= 0.5
How far it sweeps. More is more detuned.
mix0 … 1= 0.5
Dry/wet. Around 0.5 is the classic lush chorus.
fb0 … 0.95= 0
Feedback. Above zero this stops being a chorus and becomes a FLANGER.
