REC

Records whatever is patched into it, for as long as its gate is high, into a sample bank slot. This is how the rack samples ITSELF — record a drum patch, then granulate it.

The REC card as vimsynth draws it: its title bar, 1 knobs, 2 inputs down the left edge and 1 outputs down the right
REC on an empty rack — 32×15 cells, knobs at their defaults, with a sound in its slot. Press a in the app and pick REC to get this card.

inputs

Down the left edge of the card, top to bottom.

inaudio
The signal to record.
gategate
Records for as long as this is high. Its rising edge starts a fresh recording.

outputs

Down the right edge, in the same order.

thruaudio
The input, passed straight through, so this drops into a chain without a mixer.

knobs

Left to right across the face — the dials in the picture.

slot0 … 63= 0
Which bank slot to record into.

The full reference — every parameter curve, the patching notes and the worked examples — lives in the manual: docs.vimsynth.com/modules/rec. In the app itself, :help REC opens the same page without leaving the rack.
